What is Joint Heath?

A joint is a place where two or more bones are joined together. Joints can be either rigid or movable.

Many joints have cartilage at the ends of the bones where they come together.

Good cartilage helps you move by allowing bones to glide over one another.

It also helps protect bones by preventing them from rubbing against each other.

Keeping your joints healthy will allow you to run, walk, jump, exercise, and do other things you love. Physical activity, a nutritious diet, avoiding injuries, and getting enough sleep are all good ways to stay healthy and keep your joints healthy too.

Some people get arthritis, a condition in which the joints become inflamed and painful.
Arthritis is a term that is often used to refer to any disorder that can affect the joints. Although arthritis is most commonly seen in older adults, it can affect young people, too. There are many different forms of arthritis:

Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis, especially in the elderly. In osteoarthritis, the cartilage on the surface of the joints wears away and allows the bones to rub against each other. This causes pain, swelling and loss of movement in the joints. Sometimes, an injury to a joint can cause pain in the area around the joint.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease, meaning that the immune system attacks the tissues in the joints as if they were foreign invaders. This can lead to pain, swelling, stiffness, and loss of function in the joints. People with rheumatoid arthritis may also experience fatigue and sickness, and sometimes get fevers.
Gout
Gout is an arthritis condition that is caused by a build-up of uric acid crystals in the joints. The most common site for this is in the big toe. It can be very painful. There are several effective treatments for gout that can help reduce disability and pain.
Juvenile Arthritis
Juvenile arthritis is a term often used to describe arthritis in children. Most types of arthritis affecting adults can also affect children, but juvenile idiopathic arthritis is the most common type affecting kids.

Osteoarthritis & Arthritis Symptoms

Arthritis symptoms can develop slowly over time. Symptoms generally emerge in the joints as pain, swelling, tenderness and stiffness. Effected areas can be seen in the figure below.

How is Joint Pain Treated?

Simple home treatment, such as applying a heating pad or ice to the affected area, is recommended several times a day for a short period of time. Soaking in a warm tub is also helpful.

Heating pad or ice.

Heat and ice can be used to relax muscles or stiff joints. Applying heat increase the blood flow to the effected area by dilating vessels which in turn reduce pain. Heat is used for chronic conditions. In the other hand, ice can be used for acute pain. It reduces the swelling by restricting blood flow therefore minimizing pain. These are good options for in home treatment.

Weight loss

Weight loss can be suggested to reduce stress on the joints. Paracetamol or anti-inflammatory drug can help relieve pain. Both medicines are available over the counter, but stronger doses may require a doctor’s prescription. If you have stomach ulcers, kidney disease, or liver disease, talk to your doctor if this is a good option for you.

Exercise

Exercise helps you regain strength and function. Walking, swimming, or other low-impact aerobic exercise is best. Those engaged in intense training or athletic activity may need to shrink or start a less influential exercise routine. Gentle stretching exercises are also helpful. Talk to your doctor before starting or continuing your exercise program.

Topical treatments

Topical treatments such as ointments and gels that can be rubbed into the skin in the affected joint area can also help relieve pain. Some of these are available in stores, or your doctor can write a prescription for you.
Dietary supplements such as glucosamine, chondrotin, MSM and ASU combination can help relieve pain.

WHAT IS DONSIR?

Donsir supports the protection of cartilage and joint health thanks to the effect it provides both separately and synergistically
with its 5 different main active ingredients.

Glucosamine

It is an endogenous aminoglucose used in the synthesis of proteoglycans and glucosaminoglycans found in the intra-articular fluid and other joint structures.

Chondrotin

It is the main component of the extracellular matrix of connective tissues. It has a great importance in the formation of intra-articular fluid. It has an anti-inflammatory effect on cartilage metabolism.

ASU

Stimulates the synthesis (anabolic effect) of chondrocytes of extracellular matrix components. It reduces the breakdown (Destruction) of ECM molecules (anti-catabolic effects).

MSM

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring form of sulfur that helps support muscles and tendons throughout the body.

The combination contains 3 components which are accepted by EULAR (The European League Against Rheumatism, the organization which represents the people with arthritis/rheumatism, health professional and scientific societies of rheumatology of all the European nations) as effective for support of the healthy locomotor system function.

Donsir is a complex chondro-proof product for the pathogenetic effect on the symptoms of degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system, which affects metabolism, reducing pain and the need for NSAIDs, the probability of relapse, improves the functional state of the joint, especially in polymorbidity conditions.
